Habanos2000 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 On a separate thread we recently discussed travel to Cuba for American citizens. The Chicago Tribune had a front page article in their Sunday travel section today about the same thing and thought some of you might find it interesting. http://www.chicagotribune.com/travel/sc-trav-0207-cuba-20120207,0,5662227.story
DougB Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Cool article, thanks for sharing that...last night on National Geographic (.com) I came across guided 9-day tours of Cuba- for U.S. citizens-and others that want to go. One of the days they go to the Robaina farm for a tour. Sounds like a really, really great 9 days full of cultural immersion. Not cheap- 5k plus airfare to Florida. There is a waiting list for trips starting in May, but all-in-all it sounds fantastic.
CanuckSARTech Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Geesh. For $5K??? For my American brothers, give me your $5K, and come on over the border and I'll get you set up!

CanuckSARTech Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Hell, give me $4K, and I'll still set you up. Special discounted rate for American cousins, and I can still make out like a bandit. Shhhhhhh - no one has to know....
