riazp Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Being in MOntreal, We are lucky enough that we have establisments that allow indoor smoking like stogies cigar lounge. So I smoke less of course, maybe once a week or every two weeks depending, but like shlomo said, it give more humidor time for my cigar and they gain age that way.
Lastroll Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 I remember one day (a couple years ago) it got all the way down to 40* F here in So Cal... We all thought we were going to die. We had to buy these big jackets stuffed with real feathers... I hope I never have to wear that thing again.
KarlJ Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 I'll either spend more time at my local B&M who has a smoking lounge or I'll smoke in the garage with a wood burning stove going. -Karl
bassman Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 I smoke in my house. In the winter I light the fireplace.
scinmyheart Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 being in north florida, it's not like it's setting the woods on fire with the winter temps...I'll just sit in the unheated garage with a Mr. Heater bowing right on me..gets me through a PC with a light jacket on once or twice a week 'll stop by the cigar bar for a comfort smoke (i.e. real heat)..to bad it's 20 minutes away
bobsled Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 I smoke in my house. In the winter I light the fireplace. Indeed me too Bassman! If I must retreat to the outdoors I will sit in the hot tub and enjoy a nice Robusto. The hot tub is especially fun if its snowing lightly as the snow evaporates before it hits the water!!
Murri Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Using a small patio heater under a three sided canopy right now. When it starts to get real cold I stop smoking. Like others have said my stash gets some aging time.
Bunner Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 I usually just freeze my little fingers off. Sucks, but you do what you gotta!
Smokin_Safari Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 What we did in Nth ON was to rip out the deck, install a 6 person hot tub, enclose with glass, add gas heater, smoke filter & 60" LCD. Can't go wrong my friend!
