Plato Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Hi Guys & Gals, I just came across an article online that mentioned the legenadary cuban cigar roller Cueto (Real name Jose Castelar Cayro), and it said that he is one of the "top level 8 rollers coming out of Cuba today" and even went on to say that Cueto "has acquired rock star status in the Cuban cigar community". This article, and the ongoing talk around the water hole about Hamlet Parades got me thinking more about the level system & how one goes about becoming a level 8 roller. I have seen the videos with Rob & Ramses where Rob & him briefly talk about the level system, but I am very interested in learning more about the topic. How many level 8 rollers are there in Cuba? I remember reading once that Pepin Garcia was a level 8 master roller before he left Cuba. I thought that this would be an interesting topic for the forums, especially if the guys who know a lot about this topic would contribute bits & pieces of their knowledge so that everyone in the community can learn more. Happy Smoking, Mike #2
