I-saw-the-devil-large-poster.jpg

Description as on IMDB:

Kyung-chul (Choi Min-sik) is a dangerous psychopath who kills for pleasure. He has committed infernal serial murders in diabolic ways that one cannot even imagine and his victims range from young women to even children. The police have chased him for a long time, but were unable to catch him. One day, Joo-yeon, daughter of a retired police chief becomes his prey and is found dead in a horrific state. Her fiance Soo-hyun (Lee Byung-hun), a top secret agent, decides to track down the murderer himself. He promises himself that he will do everything in his power to take bloody vengeance against the killer, even if it means that he must become a monster himself to get this monstrous and inhumane killer.

MIKA:

I watched this a week ago, the asian box office is full of 'Hidden gems' when it comes to Crime/Action/Drama movies, Korea have a great list of brilliant movies and this movie is probably one of the best I seen in a long time. Has a tendancy to get very violent and graphic, this touches on Serial murder, canibalism, torture etc and leaves you saying: "You never know"

Seriously, watch this movie, it is English dubbed also.

Oldboy is a great example of how good Korean cinema can be and I hear this is an excellent and very gritty. I've got this ready to watch and can't wait. I will definitely not be watching it dubbed though. action. I like hearing the original tongue with subtitles. Absolutely despise dubbing

Yeah, I hate dubs, much prefer subtitles as it leaves the acting intact. I'm a big fan of A Tale of Two Sisters and the vengence trilogy so might check this out.

Watched I Saw the Devil and thought it was very good. Not as violent as I thought thankfully. Recommended to all with a strong stomach and who like a good thriller/action
