BradNC Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 the secretos box is so nice, but the big aussie giant warning label ruins the pretty black box and taking it off not all the glue comes off, makes me sad in the pants I normally use Gorilla tape and lay it across the label and slowly wax it off. It still leaves behind the bottom layer but at least gets the pic off and doesn't leave behind pieces of a sticker.

Goo be gone and a green 3m scrubbie(wet) scrub lightly enough not to remove varnish. Clean up with a water/sodium bicarbonate mixture.(nutrelizes the odor) I'll admit I haven't done this on a cigar box but have done it on finished wood surfaces with good results. If the wood isn't sealed with a varnish, paint or other finish then I probably wouldnt use a citrus, acidic or oil based product.
