I will be in Anaheim California from September 11 to the 17 and was wondering if anyone may know of any Cigar friendly establishments in the area.

Sorry, I can only speak for beverly hills and Pasadena. If you don't mind the drive, 45 min. Then bev hills is the spot. Lil Italian restaurant will even deliver next store and set u up as if you where in the resturant.

First and foremost. Drive 35 mins up the 405 to Torrance and stop in at Bo's Cigar Lounce. Tell them Rush sent you. Likely my good friends Lincoln and Mark will be there. They don't mind a brown bag CC if you purchase one from the house too. Closer to the OC try Oasis in Aliso Viejo or Cigar Afficiado in Tustin. Unfortunately most of so cal is non smoking so you need to head to your local shop. The short drive to old town Torrance and Bo's will be more than worth it.

Try Siglo cigar in Newport Beach. Its the same owners as Fair Oaks, the all time best B&M retailer.

I will be staying at the Anaheim Hilton (777 Convention Way). I was having a real hard time finding cigar friendly places so I'm not surprised at all that most of the city is now non-smoking. I was hoping to find places within walking distance. After finding out the smoking situation in the city I am probably lucky that I was able to find one place ... a fine dinning restaurant that allows cigar smoking on their patio (Mr. S t o x). I wasn't planning on renting a car but if all the good places are too far to walk I might just have to look at the rental rates.

Renting a car and smoking in some of the LA/OC places discussed herein would be a good use of money. Good people at all these places.

Most of these suggestions are way too far, there was a place by angel stadium that I forgot the name of that allowed it but not anymore so it doesn't matter. Check out orange hill restaurant, the patio is cigar friendly, view is great, and appetizers are decent. Valet only which is 3.50.

Orange hill has a great outdoor patio, but the food has seriously gone downhill and the restaurant is seriously in need of renovation. As a kid I'd go to brunch there with my parents, and used to bring dates there for dinner when I was in high school. Great view, very romantic at night.

I say, bring a big cigar, head to Downtown Disney and spark her up. See if anyone says anything to you. Smoked a Partagas Short there is April while at Disney with the family...honestly...no one said anything to me.

I like your style chenman.

Two questions:

1. Was your old avatar the bull?

2. What would you have said if someone told you to put the party short out?
