H Upmann Magnum 46 - ENE 10

fffffuuuuu I just typed out my review and tried to attach an image and everything went haywire!! Original review was significantly more detailed and witty :-p

Will insert pics below.

At cold- barnyard, more chicken coop than cattle yard. perfect draw and contruction. hay on the draw.

1st third- whipped cream and straberries, like my Aunty's Christmas pavlova. medium bodied (stayed that way the whole way though). some tannin build up at back of thraot just to let me know its young and ballsy.

2nd third- dull. some mint coming in as it went into final third giving me the change-up I was looking for!

3rd third- minty character really coming to the fore. still got that fruity cream aspect and some nice medium tobacco flavours.

Overall- excellent midday smoke. Should develop nicely over the few months the cabinet lasts :-p Would love a little spice through the nose but you can't have your cake and eat it too !

Score- 88 right OTT.

Great review. I am smoking an 07 right now and very happy with the progression of this box. Very rough and tannic when I got them. Now just smooth tobacco. Thinking about getting a 50 cab. Glad 2010s are smoking well.

and worth a box of wooden nickels. Try to save a few for a couple of years and see what you think....

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, the Mag 46 has been on my wishlist ever since I smoked the last of my 3 ct tubo box sometime last year. With Upmann being on their game with recent production, I see a box in my near future...would love a 50 cab if Rob comes across some good ones.
