This is a Behike 52 that I ordered in a 3-pack, 52-54-56, sampler back in January. While reading the big debate over Piggy's 52 review, I thought I'd try mine out for the drawing and see if I agree with him. This is the first BHK 52 Ive smoked. These 3 Behikes that I have are the only cigars I've ever smelled where I could pick up the "barnyard" smell on the wrappers. On to the cigar:

Smells great pre-light, PERFECT draw... Don't think Ive ever had a cuban that drew this well (usually a little too tight for my liking)

Opening: SWEET TOBACCO, almost sugary

1/3: Salty-sweet creaminess. Makes you salivate a little. Some subtle spice in the back of the throat. Vanilla sweetness coming through over the saltiness. Drinking water washes away the salt taste and leave only vanilla cream. Very nice flavor that lasts.

2/3: Salt comes stronger with a nutty taste. Vanilla still present. Zero harshness, even when relighting. The cigar will put off very little resting smoke and explode with clouds of thick, creamy smoke with the slightest draw.

3/3: Turning harsh now. Have to slow down and finally let it die. Same saltiness and sweet vanilla throughout. Could taste vanilla 30 minutes after I finished.

Overall: 92-93. Could be a 95 if it lost the harsh bite at the end. I'm thinking that more age will push that harshness farther and farther back into the cigar, along with the vanilla and salt being more defined. Lovely smoke though. Glad I smoked it. I recommend you at least try one before saving them for a special occasion, just so your expectations don't cause disappointment. And yes I would love to smoke another for a special occasion. This brings me to price point: If I didn't know how much this cigar cost, I would still rate it the same. Very elegant smoke. Worth it? That's up to you and your bank account. At least worth a try IMO.

That's a nice review  It's certainly one that I'd try, unfortunately the bank account is the deciding factor for me in this one! :2thumbs:
