Hi all. I'm just stopping by to say hello and introduce myself. I'm brand new here and to cigars in general. I'm from Seattle but have recently moved to the Bay Area.

So far I've only smoked NC's as I've only been into cigars for about 2 months. I do have a few CC's chilling in my humidor for about 3 weeks now, however I haven't given any a try as of yet. Trying to develop my palate a little before I reach for the good stuff.

My CC stash: 3 Monte 2's, 3 Party D-4's, 3 HDM Epicure 1's & 5 Monte 4's.

Been doing a lot of browsing in the Cheap & Cheerful section of the forum. Doing a little research on some of the smaller vitolas... I'm thinking that this way I can try a few of each, get a sense of what the different marcas are like and which ones are more suited to my tastes, without breaking the bank. I'll be making a purchase of about 20 to 25 singles in the next few days to a week, so if some of you can throw some advice my way (as far as which of the little guys represent their brand the best), it'd be much appreciated.

I'm open ears and eager to learn.

Welcome aboard SmokinGene.

As for suggestions on cheap and cheerfulls, the smaller vitola's are a great way to go. I would recomend sending an email to Lisa (first lady) asking for a sampler of PC's

Also a good gage of whats good and whats not is the recent polling done in here on most satifying cigars:

Here is the link on the most up to date results:

Cheers good luck.

Thanks Tom. I think the forum will be very helpful to me.

Does Lisa work for Cigar Czar? If so, any info on them would be most accommodating.

Lisa is "First Lady' here in the Forum and is the go to person to get things done at Czar.
