Greetings All,

I'd be interested in hearing from the members here as to which of these RE's they would choose, given a choice. Please explain why, if possible. I've read quite a few positive reviews on the SLR Pacificos but have not seen much on the Juan Lopez No. 4, as of yet. I have enjoyed some regular production sticks from each of these marcas but would appreciate any input on these respective RE's.

Thanks in advance.

I am a huge fan of the SLR Pacificos. This is a cigar they got right.

JL No 4 is another couple of years away from showing what it really has. SLR Pacificos is right on the money now.

For a long time SLR was my favorite brand. Then I pretty much lost my taste for it except the DCs. With that background I have to say the Pacifico is an outstanding cigar. JL- nothing special.

I've smoked both recently and I would have to go with the Pacifico. The JL4 was decent, but young. The Pacifico is a fantastic cigar...

I am a JL Fan, and have to agree with the rest. The Pacifico tasted on when I had it about a year or less ago. Out of 2 JL4 samplings - one was tasty, but young. The other, not tasty and young. I find that typically, JL needs a little time to develop.

NONE! Don't waste your time hoping the RE stuff will be good.

Like Flavor Flav said "Dont believe the hype"!

Go with the regular production stuff.
