cigaraholic Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I have 2 boxes of these with the same code, I reviewed the box with lighter shade wrappers a while ago and really enjoyed the cigar. I planned to smoke them before breaking into the darker box, well you know how to make god laugh...........................make a plan. The lighter shade box is 100 miles away sleeping in a cellar, so it's into the dark box. I chose a heavy cigar to smoke, 12.4 gr. which can be asking for trouble with the draw issues many people seem to have with this brand. I think it turns a lot of people off that you have to be patient with this shape, your not going to get a lot of smoke out of them for a few minutes. Even thou this cigar was overfilled the draw was OK. Cold draw was cocoa and tobacco and when I fired it up it filled my mouth with sweet fruity tobacco, carmel, nuts, nougat and vanilla. For me smoking a great Cuaba reminds me of See's candy......a US candy maker. So for 1 hour I got to enjoy all the candy I wanted and didn't gain an ounce. Fantastic medium-full bodied smoke that I had to keep telling myself to slow down, so tasty it was hard not to puff on it.
Colt45 Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Thanks for the review - the pic does make them look like chocolate
thechenman Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Warren Buffett will be sorry to hear this. I have to say though...I've never smoked a Cuaba that even came close to tasting like any type of See's Candy...
kreziesmokes Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Those sticks look delicious. Thanks for the pix and review.
