Salt Test to Calibrate

Ladies and Gents,

I am going to use the Salt Test to calibrate some digital Hydro's.

Question: instructions say to fill a soda cap with table salt, lightly moisten, then let sit in a ziplock bag for 4 hours. Does the four hour time period have to be exact, or can I let this sit overnight?

I usually just do it before bed and check it in the morning. I think the 4 hour is a minimum for the environment to stabilize.

Usually once I set it, I then toss it in with some 65% beads to see how bang on it is.

I also like to let them sit overnight, a full day etc. I usually test in the same area I keep my humidors - for me, that's the basement.
