Ryan Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 It's a great article. You know of course Harry is a member here. Shame Yiorgos's pictures didn't make it to the online edition. I like this line "My main reason for coming to Cuba was to write an article on the Cuban health system." What's this Harry, research?
bolivr Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 The shirt. The drink. The cigar. Now there's a man who knows how to party. Great article.
harryleech Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Ehhh... That wasn't me. It must be a doppelganger. Actually no, Andy created that image with Photoshop. He's a wizard with a PC. I mean, I've never even been in El Gato Tuerto. Repeatedly, night after night until they ask us to leave. Or on the Malecon at 7am trying to fish two drunken foxes out of the water, accompanied by a crew of dockers who were waylaid from their morning run by two bottles of rum and some plastic cups... Great day, great week, great city, great country. Roll on next year - maybe even November...
frenchkiwi Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 forgive the ignorance, but what on earth was in that bowl? tonic water? i guess not...
harryleech Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 forgive the ignorance, but what on earth was in that bowl?tonic water? i guess not... It varied from night to night - sometimes soething non-alcoholic, like beer, and sometimes a proper drink like Havana Club 7 year old. It's still behind the bar in El Gato Tuerto...
