shawnbc Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Hi everyone! I'm off to work so my introduction will be brief! My name is Shawn, I'm 21 and recently got hooked up in the cigar world. Total newbie here but have a lot of interest and lot of knowledge to acquire! I registered here because I have a big interest in Habanos and this might be the biggest community regarding this topic! So far in my humidor rest: Cubans: 5 Cohiba Exquisitos, 1 Romeo y Julieta Romeo No.3 tubos, one Hoyo de Monterey Epicure No.2, 3 Monte #2, 1 Monte Open Eagle. Non-Cubans: 1 Oliva V torpedo and 1 Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story. Hope to acquire some more soon from Czar, they seem to be recommended around here pretty much! Thanks all, I'll introduce properly whenever I have a minute (after work)! By the way, sorry for my poor english use, my main language is french! Hope I'm not mistaken for a 13 years old illiterate! Shawn
thechenman Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Welcome to FoH! Enjoy the forum... You are right about purchasing your CCs from Cigar Czar. You will not find a better vendor. The service is much heralded and justified. Oh...and for English not being your primary language, I would say your writing is better than many people I know whose only known language is English.
shawnbc Posted April 12, 2011 Author Posted April 12, 2011 Thanks Thechenman! I hope to learn a lot of new things here! BTW, I read on the Cigar Czar that they will only let you buy from them if you are recommended to them by FoH forum members. How can one be recommended? Just continue to post and make a name around here?
tmac77 Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Welcome to FOH ShawnBC. As for the recomendation I can do that only if you are a Hab's fan Tom
shawnbc Posted April 12, 2011 Author Posted April 12, 2011 @ tmac77: Unfortunately I am not a big hockey fan (I don't know all the stats and don't follow NHL very much). I'm the kind of guy that jumps on the bandwagon when they reach playoffs and play against Boston (I think they will, won't they?) but appart from that, I'll watch a game or two during regular season Unless you were talking about Habanos and not Habs (Montreal Canadians) then I consider myself a fan-to-be, actually been in the cigar world for a couple weeks (let's say a month) and already have a dozen in my tupperdor. But it will grow bigger, don't you be afraid
tmac77 Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I was refering to Les Glorieux as in the Montreal Canadiens. Canadiens btw is always spelled with an 'e' in the team name irrespective of it being English or French.

Sorry 'bout that!
CanuckSARTech Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Cheers and welcome. [Didn't want Trevor to be the only one double-posting tonight! ]
