michael69 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 .... in continuation from my last thread and poll regarding the partagas 2003, 2006 D series LE's and the 2000 Pyramides plus the Hoyo 2003 and which to buy; there are a couple more potential buys, ones that I have never tried; the RyJ Hermosos no.1's from 2003 and the RyJ Romeo Robustos from 2001. What are these like? I'm not normally a RyJ fan, so initially didn't consider them, but if they're likely to be really good, who knows?
Smallclub Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 In my experience the 2001 robusto was a much better cigar than the Hermoso No.1 which was very rustic and boring… I'm sure the robusto has aged beautifully, I would not say so about the H1…
thechenman Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Not even close...the best EL RyJ I've had is the Duke and Partagas and Hoyo LEs, have by and far been better. My favorite Partagas LE is the PSD1, and for HdM, I have a hard time deciding between the 03 Piramide and the Epircue Especial.
michael69 Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 Thanks for that guys, sort of confirms what I expected. As I said, I'm no great fan of RyJ generally (I do like the Duke though)
