tcbc Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I did not take the time to review old threads but since the F-1 thread has been so active I am curious as to the opinion of the upcoming NASCAR year. Personally, I am pulling for Tony Stewart depsite him losing his cool in Oz land. Any thoughts?
Daverazz Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I go to a couple races a year. Talledega and Bristol. I am also a fan of Smoke. Lol. Ironic huh. But my guy is Denny Hamlin in the 11 car. I am anxious to see Daytona this weekend. And the 20million dollar track they just poured. Should be fun the watch the great american race.
jledou Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 A Jeff Gordon fan since 95-96 when he was starting out racing. Been a couple of down years for him and will be interesting to see if he gets back up to the top of his game or if he continues to slip into the second half of his career.

Now, I probably haven't seen a race in person or on TV in 5 years. It's something that I would love to get back into and have tried but just can't. It's just really missing alot of its old charm in my opinion. I think the "Super Teams" like Hendrick have really taken a great deal away from it as well as closing down races at the old traditional tracks in an effort to spread them around and increase NASCAR's footprint.
