warren516 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Greetings from an Ex-NYer. I spent almost 11 years on Long Island. We don't talk about things like shipping on the boards. What are your tastes in the non-cuban (NC) smokes?

CanuckSARTech Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Yeah, JJ, either PM a fellow NY/east coast U.S. member, or one of them will PM you. Read around the threads, absorb some info, contribute some, and then PM either Pres or Lisa if you have any other questions, outside of what we can help with in the open threads.

What are your tastes in the non-cuban (NC) smokes? I tend to like full bodied strong cigars. Among my favorites are Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970& La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero regular and maduro as everyday smokes. Some of my more special occasion favorites include Pepin My Father (especially 2010 limited edition toro) Fuente Anejo, Opus X & Casa Fuente. Also a big fan of all the Padron's maduros especially Family Reserve. Some other smokes that are a regular in my humidor include: Camacho Triple Maduro, Alec Bradley Tempus & Tatuaje Gran Cojonu. Hope that gives you an idea of my smoking interests. I am real glad to be a part of the forum. The welcome has been great.

I've had a couple of Antaño's and like them, especially at the price. The My Father series is good, too. I think I'm most partial to the Le Bijoux 1922, which I've had most. Best, Pete

You are right about the Le Bijou. The Pale de Oro wrapper makes it unique. I am going to take the liberty of sending you a PM.
