Leopolis Semper Fidelis Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Could someone enlighten me as to why the Cuban factories have two different names (Delicados and Número 1) for Long Panetelas both measuring 7½" x 38?
mm12 Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 I've never heard of the factory name Numero 1, but I think you may be referring to Laguito No. 1 which is the same size as Delicados. The difference is Laguito No. 1's have a pigtail cap (i.e. Cohiba Lanceros, Montecristo Especial No. 1) and Delicados don't (i.e. Partagas Serie du Connaisseur No.1, El Rey del Mundo Grades de Espana)

I have a listing of factory names here and I show the pigtail cigars with a "T" after their common name. http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/list-factorynames.aspx
