I just got mine yesterday. Looks and smells beautiful!!! I'm gonna try and to keep to the 60 day recommendation.

On a side note I've never really felt i was apart of this forum until i purchased from the Czar and I thought how appropriate it would be my virginal purchase will be the FOH customs. Just wanted to say thank you very much to Lisa, Smithy and Prez on this brilliant forum to bring Cuban cigar more accessible.

Without sounding like the devil on your shoulder, you do have six customs Michael so if you wish to look at it this way.... Well, you can enjoy one Czar, one Tampa and have two each to rest! :D

Not forgetting, there will be more customs coming..... TEMPTATION got you yet my friend? :)

That's exactly the way I looked at it when I smoke one of each yesterday and today. I wanted to see what they would be like very fresh. I definitely do not regret it, they were both amazing. Sorry for the temptation. :D

I'm with the don't wait crowd as well. Smoked the Tampa last night a little over 24 hrs after receiving it. Oily light and dark chocolate, cream, coffee, and a bit of a head spin. awesome cigar. A real treat. Having the Czar tonight and then put down the rest. But it won't be easy to stay away.

For you guys holding out. Do yourselves a favor and smoke one now! :)

I also thought of Chuck as I looked at the red band. And Rob has all reason to be proud of these cigars.

But... A bundle! Whaaa? :rolleyes::innocent:

No WHINING on FOH!

Shame on you for trying to lure me to the dark side. :rotfl: Still, you are so right about that, my friend. Couldn't do much harm to try just one of each. ;) Well, so far I'm still resisting temptation, but the force sure is strong with these girls...

P.S.: Nice to have a picture to your name, guess I'll be putting one up with the review too.

I'm out before I even got in...

recv'd Wed. Dry boxed one of each and had the czar Thurs night. Enjoying the Tampa as I type.

The czar was really good albeit a bit muted in the middle and still a little damp. Got a little rough at the end, but I'm sure it'll be exceptional once it balances itself out.

Just starting on the Tampa, but this is what all cigars should smell like!

I'm still goin on strong if only because i've only got 2 of each. A friend of mine knicked /insisted buying it off me. Hell i tried to refuse but it didnt work.

Yeah micha, absolute gems the customs. Glad this my first and definitely wont be my last.

It's been a while, way more than required minimum 30 days resting period for custom rolls. Has any of our brave competitors fallen off the wagon yet? :lol3: Me? The freezing cold weather has kept me from smoking anything bigger than a PC for a month. I still have all 6 customs intact.

I can't believe I've lasted this long. Gonna have one during UFC124 Saturday night.

I haven't touched mine. The weather has not be conducive to smoking cigars. My guess they will be safe until April!

Still holding out here as well. My mouth is watering though. Getting close. Maybe Christmas Day. :D

I'm still master of my domain! Office Xmas party was a dud, so didn't light up the Tampa I brought along.

Lucky we are talking cigars :D

Sorry, forgot to tell that I folded on the 26th of December.

On the outside these are just beautiful. The wrapper, the oils, the aroma. A great promise.

The first inch was pretty unremarkable.

Then came the chocolate.

The most exquisite and beautiful blend of the best Partagas/Cohiba I've ever tasted, so great that making any notes while smoking was out of the question. Two and a half hours of bliss, a deep and complete relaxation.

No relights or corrections were necessary, straight and even burn throughout. A testament to the masterful constuction of this still very young cigar.

Rob said the aim was to make a cigar after which there would be no need to have another, in my view this was achieved perfectly.

I do this when I just don't want to let go.

I'm running out of superlatives and starting to sound sentimental, but for me the Tampa was everything I always wanted in a cigar. Thank you Rob, and thanks to everyone involved in the process!
