After reading the threads for wine cooler into humidor I decide to give it a try.

I will upload photos soon, but would like to know if resting full boxes of CC on it's side instead of flat will cause damage to the cigars in any way?

Are the cigars resting on their sides or on their feet? If on their feet, there might be some cracked feet after a while. Then again, that's how cigars in jars are stored, so it should not be a concern.

It shouldn't cause any damage to the cigars. Preferably, store them on their side. I have one of my boxes resting on their sides. Which reminds me ... I need to buy a cabinet. I wish Bob lived out here, it would make ordering an Aristocrat so much easier!

I think that wouldn't be a problem guess it all depends on how full the box is and how often it's moved no different from a box laying flat right ?

Depending on the size of your boxes I would guesstimate around 10 total. My Vino 28 currently holds one cabinet up top and five boxes down on the bottom. You could probably squeeze a box up top if you tried. I haven't tried playing cigar box tetris yet. Once I place an order with the Czar I'm sure I will have to though.

Cheers,

I have a Whynter Sno 28, and I have 17 boxes in it. 5 SLB and 12 Dressed boxes. I think I have an old picture in my gallery.

Already full. Using humidity beads at 70%. Temp stays at 61F. Might unplug for winter.

Looks good. One thing though, I would put the loose cigars in a box or a ziplock bag to keep from getting too moist.

I will keep that in mind, but what you see out of the box (except for NC) gets smoked within a week.
