Bolivar Britianicas! Awesome!

Indeed. I really look forward to these.

I miss the skinnies.

I await with dread the deletion list...

I think the distributors are working out how to best use the Regional Release concept.

Unless I am mistaken I think you will find that the releases will be in the main between 25000-50000 cigars. This allows some unique experimentation.

The Quai D'Orsay Robusto is a case in point. Quai D'Orsay is largely unknown in Asian markets. This is an excellent example of revitalizing interest. While I do not know the numbers produced I suspect it will not be large.

I hope the trend continues.

Indeed, we've seen some interesting things with QdO, Fonseca, La Flor de Cano, and Sancho Panza all making appearances as REs in '10 and '11. I look forward to more fun that they have with this concept.

Prez, I'm curious to know if you submitted any ideas for the REs for the A/P region in 2011. Surely you didn't propose the QdO. I love them, but I don't recall too much endorsement for the marca from your staff. I bet they'll be terriffic!

I think the QDO Robusto is "Brave"

....really....really....."Brave" :peace:

Still, they are punting their own money. If it increases market awareness for this marque then it will be worthwhile.

I guess the Boli Especiales weren't as groundbreaking as we thought. None of these interest me except maybe those Canadian RA Rodolfos........but then, I shudder to imagine what they will cost in this Taxation Prison we call Canada....

The SP RE excites me too, because I love the brand, but I'm still waiting on this year's Spain 2010 RE! What the heck happened to those SP Quijotes????

The only good Canadian RE that I've had before was the Bolivar Simones Edicion Regional Exclusivo Canada from a November 2007 box (original/initial release box). Even that was so-so, in my opinion, even though I could have let it settle a bit longer than I did (only 1 1/2 years).

The Quai D'Orsay in a robusto format will be VERY interesting! I can't wait!

Unfortunately I've never that the chance to try a single regional cigar. Zuma44 (FoH memebr) just came back from Spain and brought me back a regional 2008 Ramon Allones Grandes. I'll be taking it to Las Vegas this weekend and checking it out. I love love RA's so I'm sure I'll love this too.

Brave it may be... but I'm already on your list for interest :P I won't be the only one who buys these!
