Just smoked one myself. Very tasty, but it tastes very similar to a RASS to me. I have RASS the same box code as my Belis - POL MAY 10 - and except for the shape, I find them almost identical. I'm not complaining, since I like the belicoso shape better. But anyone else think they're the same blend in a different shape?

I have two boxes with box code LRE MAR10 and box numbers are 1078 and 1810 (if I remember correctly). Also seen very low numbered boxes with the same box code that I have.

Good question. I don't have the box itself -- I have singles from another person. I have only seen LRE codes for these as well, but I don't have any doubts about authenticity as of yet. Bands look fine, proper size and shape, definitely Cuban tobacco and definitly an RA profile. But, if anyone else has (or has seen) a POL box code, I'd be happy to hear your thoughts on these.

just found and bought a box online from the UK. Have not tried yet, but happy to have them. Plan to let them settle for a couple weeks and try....

Tried a few from different boxes / sources, stunning cigar.

IMHO the Belicoso stands on its own, it's not a RASS in disguise -

but it is also true to the marqua, so naturally, there is a family resemblance.
