Lotusguy Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Well, I still have no clear opinion. I've smoked only two cigars out of the box yet. One was realy great, but the other had very weird flavors. Maybe I'll smoke another cigar this evening. But I assume, you ask because of ammonia which was addressed recently. I haven't found ammonia in the cigar of this box so far. I had also wondered at that age... I asked because I have a 1998 box incoming I will report back on how I like them!
AlexOk Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 Reporting will be nice. I'm looking forward to.
Lotusguy Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Reporting will be nice. I'm looking forward to. I shall post a review (once I get them and they had a chance to rest for at least 30 days)!
AlexOk Posted September 27, 2011 Author Posted September 27, 2011 Here is my short tasting of the Bachilleres. (click) Maybe you can add your impressions to the posting.
AlexOk Posted November 1, 2011 Author Posted November 1, 2011 What you find when you crawled in cigar dealer's humidor on all fours... Partagas - Petit Bouquets BD Jun-02 Unfortunately, only five pieces. Actually, it would have been six, but a friend has grabbed into the box before I could hit him on the fingers... (just kidding)

Lotusguy Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Great find once again - what cigar stores are you spelunking about??? LCDH Stuttgart has nothing older than 2003...
AlexOk Posted November 1, 2011 Author Posted November 1, 2011 Great find once again - what cigar stores are you spelunking about??? LCDH Stuttgart has nothing older than 2003... CigarWorld. :-) They where hiding in a stack of Partagas - Habaneros. Near the floor and in the second row. Not easy to find. And definitely the last Box. It was a lucky hit. Normaly I search smaller Shops.
AlexOk Posted December 18, 2011 Author Posted December 18, 2011 Yesterday I was again on the hunt. My master distributor for older product has not disappointed me this time: Partagas de Partagas No.1 DIC 00 La Gloria Cubana - Medaille d'Or No. 4 BD unknown, because the outer package was missing. 5x Punch - Double Coronas (50er Cabi, OCT 03) 5x San Cristobas de la Habana - El Morro (ABR 07) 2x Punch - Nifas (vor 2002) Already 2 weeks ago I found this here: Punch - Margaritas MAR 05
CanuckSARTech Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Very cool grabs, Alex! Those SCDLH El Morro's look amazing! Thanks for sharing! Cheers.
AlexOk Posted January 12, 2012 Author Posted January 12, 2012 ... Please let us know how they smoke when you get around to sampling one. Alright, here is the tasting of the Partagas - Petit Bouquets.
AlexOk Posted June 13, 2012 Author Posted June 13, 2012 New in my humidor: A few custom rolled cuban cigars in the style of a BHK56. Ring gauge 56, length 165mm
AlexOk Posted June 15, 2012 Author Posted June 15, 2012 I haven't smoked one yet. But they smell great. I have temporarily put them to the bottom of my aging-humidor.
maverickdrinker Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 nice custom rolls. Can you share any information on the roller? Were they also rolled to mimic the blend of a BHK 56 or just the shape and size?
