We have some recent/upcoming releases of cigar jars. Should the jars be stored in humidors or are the jars sufficient as humidors in their own right as long as they are sealed? Jars seem to require a lot of space...

Jars act as their own humidor, you don't need to store them in a humidor unless you plan on not charging the humidification device in them, or putting in a tube of beads.

The way I store the cigars is that I take them out of the jar, put them in a ziploc bag and store them in my frigeador. Leave the jar out, as you said, they take up too much space. You might also consider wrapping the cigars in foil paper and/or vacuum seal the cigars instead of using a ziploc.

I just keep the jars at rrom temperature and cigars are perfect..... up to now!

They go through all the seasons and temperatures . I would say a range of 15 to 35 C°.
