Heads-up comparisons?

The Prez's recent thread on Robustos got me thinking. That sort of multi-brand rundown is really great info. More of that would definitely be wothwhile & valuable!

I'd also love to see direct one-on-one smoke-outs.

I'm always interested in comparos of similar types (like Montecristo #2 vs Diplomaticos #2, RASCC vs Partagas Shorts).

Likewise, it's interesting to read heads-up views on two different vitolas from the same brand (especially where one might be inclined to buy only one, but have a tough time deciding which... JL Seleccion #1 vs #2 or SLR Regios vs Serie A come to mind).

Some other match-ups might seem pretty far-fetched at first glance, but still make sense. How about two vastly different cigars that cost about the same (CoRo vs Sir Winston or Monte Especial vs Partagas Serie P)?

I think a comparison of similar formats would be more interesting because prices vary in different countries (although only heretics would buy from another source than the czar ).

I believe Rob and Smithy did consecutive video reviews of the Montecristo #2 and Diplomaticos #2 (or was it the H. Upmann??), Partagas Shorts and San Cristobal El Principe... It was not exactly a head-to-head but there was some sort of comparison edge in the review.

Great idea nonetheless!
