The article doesn't read like something written by someone here in Australia. Yes we did have a gun amnesty a few years ago and I for one did not agree with it for some of the same reasons stated in this article. If anything the biggest problem we face here in Australia at the moment is knives. We have had a lot of stabbings lately and it's only getting worse.
