  1. » Prototype FOH Watch 8 That's my vote.
  2. Cigar: Diplomaticos No5 (01 or 02 production) Overall score: 4.8 / 5.0 Ambience: Sunday night spent in the office, getting ready for the upcomming week. Wife and dog in the TV room. A glass of Owens Sullivan "Red" to accompany. Overall: A very dark, sungrown wrapper, chocolate in color. Well rolled, and draws well. Smells of leather and sugar. I'm getting over a slight cold, so I chose something I thought wouldn't require much thought. I was wrong. Started with strong notes of cedar and leather. It quickly moved to bitter sweet chocolate and cedar. There is a very noticable rum like quality in the exhale. This is a excellent cigar. This couldn't be anymore different then the Diplomaticos No4 (05 production) that was gifted to me in a blind review a few months ago. The red wine isn't the best pairing for this cigar, I think scotch or rum would have worked better. I find the 2 are competing for my attention, but I don't mind. There where very slight burn issues, and it required one relight. I don't hold that at much fault, I ignored the cigar slightly while I looked to see what MRN (little, not surprising for an "off" brand) had to say about it. I can't make out the box code, so I'm not sure when exactly these were made, but I'm guess '00 - '02 production.
  3. » What's everyones favourite Robusto? The other day I spent quite a while » sitting on the deck smoking a Cohiba Robusto, after reading a few articles » on ther inconsistency and bland flavour, I was actually very surprised to » find it was a great smoke, rich and had no long ugly after taste, any » thoughts? » » -Cam- I'm sitting on a box and a half of PSD4s (clo oct01) that are absolutly heavenly. Nothing even comes close to them.
  4. » Another FOH exclusive » » These are to be released at the Habanos festival in Havana February 2007. » Expect worldwide release shortly afterward. » » COHIBA MADURO Very interesting. Thanks for the photo. Have to admit though, maduro on a Cohiba looks a little odd. :-D
  5. » » Thanks to Shrink for his generosity in sending this my way. And thank you for the excellent review.
  6. » » Have a peak and list your worst 5 :-D Not home, but from memory my most worst would be: Will Smith, "Big Willie Style" - I have no excuses, but I am ashamed. What do I win??
  7. » Any thoughts on the 06's so far? And for El Prez are there any 06's that » stand out at the moment or have good potential, I know it is really early » to tell. My '06 PLPC and BBF are smoking great. I've had a few draw issues with the PLPCs though.
  8. » I'm looking for the best cuban corona sized smoke. Ok, showing my newbie-ness here. I was think cigars in the size range of the Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure NO.1, not the smaller traditional coronas (got plenty in that size). Do the recomendations still stand? Thanks guys!
  9. Hey everyone - Been awhile since I've posted. Whoops! I'm looking for the best cuban corona sized smoke. My 2 favorite smokes are the BBF and the HdM Petit Robusto, so the sizes from those 2 names are the top of my list. Before I make an order, any suggestions? Love the community you've built here El Presidente (and crew), thanks!

Thanks guys! This definately seems to be one of the friendlist places I've found. » Welcome to FOH Nic! » » ~Mark Hey Mark - Love your time on DWSC. Keep it up.
  11. » I am a big fan of beer and Habanos, I even brew my own. Excellent. A fellow home brewer. Adding beer to the booze forum is a great idea.
  12. » I enjoy seeing what other folks on the board do for a living... My real job says I'm a "Senior IT Systems Support Tech". That means if no one else can fix it, then I have too. I'm starting an IT consulting company though, so soon "Owner, Consultant" will be my new title. :-P

Hello everyone - I found this board while looking for good habanos discussion. It seems that I hit my mark. I've been smoking cigars for 4 or 5 years now. I like them all, but prefer spice and pepper. Until recently, a good honduran was my pick, but I've started to branch out. Other then cigars, I brew beer, ride motorcycles, and enjoy old trucks. I'm 26, live in Seattle with my lovely wife, and dog. By day I fix computers. Thanks for having me! Nic
