  5. Let us know how they are. I recently saw El Presidente's post on these and ordered a box myself. Now I must wait, but from his review I should enjoy very much when I get them.
  6. Haven't had one of these in a long time...fitting cigar for the holiday.
  7. I'm American, and i didn't find it disrespectful that Raul was not there. I'm excited that he is there, and hope good comes out of this trip for Cuba and it's wonderful people. What I am PISSED about is why didn't he get a box of Trinidad's or Cohib'a when he walked of the plane
  8. To me, I get creamy coffee, at points latte, deep chocolate and sweet woody notes from VR line, in particular the Unicos.
  9. A little RASS...haven't had one in a while.
  10. No, it's me... You get any snow up there? How have you been brother?
  11. I'd go VR Unicos or Famosos. Can't go wrong.
  12. I agree, partially with this statement on the cigar sometimes being different within the box. However, my experience is that it is not the cigars themselves, but more the occasion or mood or situation as to when the cigar is smoked. However, to stay on topic, I don't feel the VR and Monte are the same cigars...they are completely different and VR imho is much better.
  13. Nice review. I haven't had one of these in years, however, they were always a great cigar for a nice change of pace (I'm partial to Partagas and Bolivar). I do remember them to be on the mild side of medium, and they always had a great "honey" undertone....damn i could taste it now. Thanks for bringing back great memories, and for helping me in lightening up my wallet, lol.
  14. These are a GREAT cigar imho, as with the whole Sancho Panza line. My three favorite morning cigars are the Partagas Shorts, BPC and the Non-Plus...you can't wrong withem, and I have yet to have a bad one. The 99's I have had were the best!
  15. I have to agree, it was unlike any other Bolivar I have had also. This cigar does need time in the humidor...maybe another two years to really be able to start showing its true colors.
  16. It seems they are having too good of a time to check in. Anymore news?
