  1. Just telling you why the hydrometer says. I have done tests on this. After they come out of the fridge and the temp is stabilized the hygrometer in the cryovac bag reads 65.
  2. I tend to follow the standard fridge to freezer back to fridge. Only diff is that I vac seal them so they are 65% when they go in and 65% when they come out.
  3. This is what happens when you let NSW run cricket
  4. I have used these guys in NSW: http://www.trendtimbers.com.au/home.html Easy to deal with and shipping to Melb was cheap. It was thick stock though to I has to split an rip it myself.
  5. Trevor Chappell deciding to listen to his brothers advice and bowl underarm....... WORST DECISION EVER!
  6. I like a few drops of spring water with a cask strength or non chill filtered scotch. Leave it neat for the rest.
  7. If he was from NSW then he would have played 50+ Brad Hodge. The second best number 3 batsman in the country for the last 10 years. Love ponting, just a pitty that hodgie didn't get a better go.
  8. Octomore is one of my all time fav's. Not a good choice with a cigar though as it will overpower pretty much anything.
  9. I hate watching that replay. Probably because I support the team of the bloke being used as a step ladder.... If you liked that one then you will love these.
  10. LOL. Never actually noticed it in the pic. Was to busy focusing on the whiskey.
  11. Nice little collection there. Here is my latest purchase.
  12. Amen. I brew my own beer and mostly drink only what I brew, IPA's bitters ect. With a cigar, has to be a hoppy malty beer like a marzen or flanders brown for me. Light lagers don't go well with a cigar in my opinion.
  13. Not a huge fan of the blends but will drink a Chivas 12/18 if in the mood. I find the JW blends a bit bland for my tastes. These days I stick to the more peated malts. Ardbeg, Laphroaig, Talisker, Caol Ila but my favorite is Bruichladdich Octomore. It's hard to find and a bit pricy but it's well worth the price of entry if you like the south coast Islay malts.
