  1. » » Ugh. Lesson learned. :-( » » Shoot Lise an e-mail tomorrow and we will shoot you an empty box of BRC » from the humidor. » » A few minutes and a hairdryer is all you need ;-) Wow! That's why we love you guys
  2. Hey Brian! I'm glad you found your way over here.
  3. I've got a box of 2003s that is marked "SEPT" Talk about "it is Cuba." It's the strangest thing.
  4. I really like Rafael Gonzalez Lonsdales. Shame on Habanos for discontinuing these.
  5. From my dad: Choose your battles wisely Never burn bridges If you fail at something, pick yourself up and try again Everything in moderation and nothing in excess He died from cancer when I was 18. Yet I know if I could talk to him now those 4 axioms would be the theme of any advice he'd give me.
  6. » Thinner would be fine with me. It's pretty rare that I smoke larger than a » 46 ring anyway. » » Interesting though, that there are quite a few relatively thin cigars on » the chopping block right now... Maybe they are giving the ax to some of the older, less popular thin cigars in order to make room for this new wave of thin cigars?
  7. » Thanks for the review Rob. I recently opened a box, with another buried. » It's Winter, cold and snow and 2+ hours on the deck is an issue this time » of year, but come the lovely days of Spring, I'll be ready. It's a great cigar to smoke during a football game. I broke into my box of Sanchos during Monday Football a few weeks back and it lasted nearly the entire game!
  8. » HDM Epic #2, but they half to be a few years old I'm with you here.
  9. I'm in Newton, Mass and I will most likely be at Churchill's in the 9th.
  10. » The Estupendo is rumored to be a fantastic cigar so i know i'll kick myself » if I don't grab some. I agree. I've been going back and forth on this one, but I just realized I can't live without. Email sent to Lisa for 1 dress box.
  11. » Well, I just sampled my first '06 Siglo II today, and it was an eye-opener » alright. Very strong, sharply spicy, slightly sweet with a peppery finish. » One of the most intense young Cohibas I've yet smoked. While certainly » enjoyable, I think that these will need a couple of years to take off the » edge and bring out the sweet spices. An easy 92 with enormous potential. I've only had a couple singles of this cigar, but it sounds like I need a box of these '06s!
  12. I wish I was into cigars when these were available at a reasonable price. I'd love to have some, but I agree that they aren't worth today's asking price.
  13. » !LOL! Van. » » They didn't charge us more for the aged Sancho Panza Sanchos so I saw no » need to charge you guys more. » » From memory they were early 00. The codes are not clear. If anyone has a » clear code post it. I will see if we have any left and try to find a clear » code. » » .....use a hairdryer to get those stickers offf ;-) I also picked up a box of those Sanchos - thanks for the great deal. My box code looks just like that one. It looks something like DEC OOEO. I'll try to grab a picture of it tonight.
  14. I love your idea Rob. I'm also a fan of the long, thin vitolas and it upsets me to see so many of them discontinued or hard to find.
