  1. You guys have been great and given me much to think about - hey if nothing else I'll be able to try a bunch of new Cubans and how bad can that really be?? Thanks again!
  2. I am looking at ordering some boxes of thinner ring gauge Cubans for smoking/aging. Problem is for pretty much all of my 20ish years of smoking I have stuck with thicker ring gauges. Can you lads suggest a few of your favorites that offer a nice mix between quality and value? Much appreciated!
  3. I smoked a RASS yesterday and had smoked a few say 6 months ago and not been that impressed. This one however was fantastic with amazing room aroma and an almost honey taste. Delish!!
  4. I am smoking the first cigar from this box which has 18 months age on it already. Chris is pleased! What a wonderful smoke. Canada just won their hockey game at the world juniors and life is good. I have an aged RASS waiting in the wings just for giggles.
  5. Tell me about it! I do need to get off my butt and heat my garage so that I can smoke in there.
  6. I have laid down a box of BBF Cab dated June 2007 and have heard very positive things about them so am looking forward to warmer weather - many, many months from now given where I am!
  7. I am very pleased to hear this. I have a box stamped Mar 08 set aside for aging and this thread makes me smile and my mouth water simultaneously!
  8. Hey thanks for the welcome fellow Canuck but c'mon - Vancouver isn't part of Canada - it is it's own slice of paradise! It is above Canada floating along in the clouds. Yeah I sort of love the place!
  9. This is a very encouraging thread with super pics. I am doing something similar and this is a good one to bookmark for inspiration.
  10. Thank you for the welcome Shrink! Our weather is pretty brutal already but it is a very dry cold once it locks in so you just dress for it and once you get past a certain temperature cold is just cold! Our economy is quite unique in that most of our business comes directly or indirectly from our territorial government. As Nunavut is a young (1999) territory and it's mineral deposits and such are largely untapped the funding is fairly constant on a yearly basis. Unfortunately I cannot smoke in the house and it is cold outside - oh say 8 months of the year - I don't get to smoke nearly as many cigars as I purchase so I suppose I will have many aged sticks to enjoy at a later time. If I could devise a way to smoke in comfort and not hassle my family and friends with smoke I would do it in a heartbeat. Someday...
  11. Hi Gang! I've heard many great things about this forum and am happy to have joined. I believe several friends of mine are on this board and I look forward to learning much from you all. Chris
