  1. No you’re not; I love the Extra Vecchios (or however it’s spelt). I need to be in the mood for them but they do hit differently. Gives that Clint Eastwood feeling, and you can hold it in the corner of your mouth like him through the whole smoke without ruining it due to the thick wrapper/binder. Same applies for transport; you’re not going to damage one by dropping it or otherwise mishandling it. They are rugged and feel that way, and you’ll feel that way when you smoke them. I get nice notes of leather, smoking wood (mesquite specifically), dried fruit and a honey sweetness.

  3. This is my tier list for cigarillos: 1st: Trinidad Shorts 2: Partagas Sere Puritos 3: Partagas Chicos 4: Cohiba Clubs I’ve also tried R&J Puritos, Montecristo Puritos, Shorts and Mini’s, and Cohiba Shorts. The 4 on my list are ones I’d buy again.
  4. I couldn’t believe the R&J Reserva Real Nicaragua was on there again. Don’t get me wrong I think it’s a great blend but that line is soooo riddled with construction issues.
  5. Howdy y’all! Just joined the forum and would like to introduce myself! I had my first cigar a couple years ago, when a friend of mine stated I needed to buy some cigars for him and myself to celebrate the birth of his first son! I remember like it was yesterday; walking into my B&M’s humidor and asking an employee for a good cigar to pair with beer. He gave me a very funny look, so I backtracked and asked for one that pairs with bourbon. Then a bell rang and he pointed me to Ted’s Bourbon Cigar; my first smoke. Since then I’ve tried many different cigars with the aid of a large retailer and YouTube channel out of Phoenix! My first Cuban cigar was a Hoyo De Monterey no1 purchased during a recent trip to Italy, and since I’ve been hooked on CC’s as well! Appreciate everyone who makes this excellent forum a great experience and look forward to chatting with everyone!
