It's going to be very hard to keep a humidor that size cool without it being insulated. You'd be better off getting a vinotemp, maybe 2, or a whole new custom himidor that was designed to he cooled. I've seen a lot of people on different forums attempt what you are looking for and I have yet to see it be successful. It may have been done, I'm just saying I haven't seen it done. Johnnie

Hey guys, Just figured I would introduce myself. I've been reading on here for a little while now. I saw some familiar faces from other boards so I thought I would join in the fun. I'm in the Air Force, been in for 10yrs. I have 2 kids, 5yo daughter and a 1 month old son. I've been smoking cigars for 9 yrs, didn't get serious about it until a few years ago. I do a lot of saltwater fishing and love to BBQ.
