So the problems for me are the lack of transparency. Why were these selected cigars the chosen ones to be put away. How were they stored. Were they just extras laying around? Not enough background information on the program. Give your consumers a background story! I believe the project can be saved but probably not under the same name. The Anejado name has been drug through the mud. They could try to keep the name but they better have the next few be fantastic releases to give people the confidence to try them again. I have smoked 5 from this boxed and it's sad to say I have been less than impressed. I have had a few in the past that have been quite tasty but this box just has not done it for me. The draw was about perfect. The burn was about as good, only required a small touch up. The first third it was quite bitter. I was hopeful for a sweet treat and got a blah bitter. At the end of the first third that bitterness completely disappeared. I did get a very small hint of maple I. The second third but it came and went in the blink of an eye. It also developed a bit of cherry that carried onto the last third. The flavor wasn't not bursting through but it did show signs of life throughout. I'd rate this an 85/100.
