  12. Is there a recording of this for those who couldn't make it live?
  13. It is sweltering hot right now in North Texas, and its a struggle to enjoy a long smoke these days given the heat! Indoor smoking isn't an option for me, unfortunately, so I am forced to step out into the sauna to enjoy a smoke. Already have a ceiling fan installed, but it doesn't move a whole lot of air. One option I have read about is a portable "swamp cooler" or evaporative air cooler. I've read a lot of mixed reviews, and not sure how well it would work in this area. Anybody use one of these while smoking? My concern would be getting that humidity into the cigar and making it wet while smoking. I've also seen some misting fans, but I have the same concern regarding moisture and the cigar What do you guys and gals do to keep cool outdoors in the summertime while enjoying a cigar?
  14. Awesome review! Would love to get a couple singles of these. Sounds like an amazing smoke!
  15. +1 on the v-cut for piramides. Much better experience, IMO that attempting straight cut.
  16. What I mean by " Serious" is actually taking the time to learn about the brands, my preferences, the history, and identifying flavors, versus just smoking whatever random cigars I come across. I can recall a time that I thought I was cool because I smoked a "Cuban" cigar but couldn't tell you the brand, vitola, or what I liked about it. I don't wanna be that guy anymore! Lol
  17. Cracked open a new box this afternoon. Let's see how it smokes!
  18. Awesome first post! Thanks for sharing your experience! I'm definitely jealous! Out of curiosity, how much was the box of capuletos?
  19. Thanks for your honest opinion. I don't have a sophisticated palate (yet), but I actually tried one last night, and found it to be pretty good. Final third was a bit harsh to me, but I enjoyed the rest of it. Would probably benefit from more rest, as mine came from an August 2016 boxcode.
  20. First time trying one of these! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  21. Hello BOTL! I have been smoking cigars for almost 10 years. However, I got more "serious" about smoking in the past year, and have made some awesome friends locally in the North Dallas area! While I have been on other cigar forums for many years, I am new to this forum. I've been a "lurker" for a bit, but I have resolved to become more active, as this is a truly wonderful community and resource to learn about our shared passion and connect with fellow enthusiasts. I look forward to getting to know many of you in the future, and learning from the wealth of experience and knowledge here!
