  1. » Love to see a pic of that lid and one from 1999. Here some more pics. I can take more. Let me know what you want to see. Also, what info on these do you have?
  2. » » Need your Date code Don't have the date code (it's not on the jar). I just took some pics.
  3. » An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Post-Revolution Havana Cigars » Min Ron Nee » First Edition , Second Reprint, July 2005 » » There is a German translation (Christoph Wolters, AWM Verlag, 2005), which contains an update written by MRN and also additional photographs by MRN. You can see four sample pages with new humidors on the Amazon.de web site: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/3980930815...ie=UTF8&seller=
  4. » » rob and i both sat there going. chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, though » from memory, his was more like, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm chocolate (better than his » usual, mmmmmmmmmmmmm bitumen. Interesting to read about all these choco comments. My box (from Germany, ROA ABR 07) looks in colour quite similar to the Siglos, maybe a tad darker. I tried only one so far and I did not detect any choco flavours. Bummer. Quite a nice smoke, but it reminded me mostly of the Siglo line. Will have to try again in a few weeks or so.
  5. » Thanks for the info. So, are there also 2002 Cohiba Millennium jars out there or was the jar rejection rate higher for the Montecristos?
  6. Just saw a price for the Petit Edmundo box at a web site in the UK, 40 pounds.
  7. I bought a few of those with different bands than usually shown (my bands have a white background, identical to the newer Hoyo EL 2004 Epicure Especial). I put them away for now. They look great, very dark, with a nice aroma. Does any one know about a late batch with newer bands?
  8. » Some nice editions to the Habanos lineup. I have no pricing at this time » but nice to see some good marketing. » The Petit Edmundo case looks really nice, but it seems a bit excessive to me to make a case for just three small cigars. You cannot use the case for much else, Marevas would not even fit in.
  9. » Back from the lab: The seal numbers are » » BA 217329 » AC 031659 » Hello Tom, for which of the two seal numbers do you have the box code (and what is the code)? Thanks and Cheers, Stephen
  10. As far as I remember, the original release was rolled in 1998 and released in early 1999.
  11. » Very recent word is that a UK vendor has sold a few boxes of 10 from 07. » » Did I read here or elsewhere that these were going to be released in boxes » of 25 this year in deference to the 2005 regional release? I could swear I » even saw a photo of a display at the Festival Habanos with a box of 25 BGMs » shown. Anyone? The only glimpse I got so far is from this Festival report: http://www.flyingcigar.de/travel_cigars/20...uro_5_linie.php The last photograph (Partagas) also shows a corner of a box with cigars that look like BGM's. I cannot tell what size box that would be. Visitors to the Festival should remember seeing this display or have taken pics themselves. Anybody?
  12. » RyJ Factory store in Habana. Where did you get yours? Send you an e-mail. Did you get it?
  13. » Mine looks identical again except the jar has a removable cedar sleeve and » it is full.:-D Have the cedar sleeve as well, plus a wooden disk. The jar is less than half full, though. :-( BTW, How did you obtain yours?
  14. » slb6r---- » » Mine looks identical to yours except the number on my seal is BK217249. » » » » » Ron Hello Ron, Interesting. Do you have a box code on your cardboard box? I will post pictures later of the cardboard box and the inside of the jar. The box has a different lid compared to the 1999 ones.
