I started sampling singles then acquire boxes of those I prefer. trying one when it arrives then gauging if its good for now and if not to put down to sample every now and then so eventually it becomes a regular smoke. With luck I should have enough to rotate to satisfy my tastes. Unfortunately there are always plenty of other cc's you want to try. ;-)
I picked up my entire shaving set - shaver "cut throat", 1kg shave soap, badger brush and a stack of blades online. I find boiled water and soap just holds better in the badger brush which makes a close and smooth shave when using the single blade.
I love that answer. I reckon I have the same hunger for cc's always wanting to satisfy my taste. I'd be going through my head then into the humidor looking for the right cigar ;-)
I was gonna say the shrubbs orange rum but after a heavy dinner maybe black seal rum - at 151 proof should be sweet and give a kick at the same time ;-)
Thank you all for the warm welcome.
For Habana Mike and ToroRph I did try the cigars the guys from the plantation rolled as I was taken to the drying barn I guess you would call it. The harvest was over so they had a few leaves hanging and stacked. (I was on a tour as I usually do when going to a new country). I was in the west of Havana - Pinar del Rio is both the name of the region and town of the factory. I don't know the factory name I was pretty over awed by the many rollers, the in depth tour commentary and huge stacks of finished cigars and ridiculously cheap prices for cigars and rum. I hope that gives you some answers
Been a cigar smoker on and off usually a cheap pub variety with the occasional liqueur. Just got back from Cuba and visited a plantation and checked out a cigar factory. l think seeing vast quantities of cigars stacked up triggered my interest into cuban cigars. hopefully I'll bump into some of you in the future. Thanks again.
