  1. i did. see post #16
  2. ehh looks like im about 15 years too late on those anyway haha. that box sure does look tasty though. enjoy them (assuming they don't taste like pencil wood haha). wait, are you saying that theres that much variance in taste within the box?
  3. whoops i didnt read the very last paragraph sorry.
  4. so what ever happened with anna bro....? good review and story
  5. Capt, that first picture of the hdm's, which vitola are they? they look delicious.. im on a hdm kick as of late. thanks
  6. Thanks pres, sounds like fun. Its fun for me just reading everyones reviews haha.
  7. El pres, How do you get involved in the blind tasting? Thanks, Jeremy
  8. Are they decent with little age? Lets say 2011 box code? I guess ill just have to wait and see. But it seems there VERY LITTLE information on the web about the du prince. Seems the des diuex gets most of the attention from the line. The couple of des diuex's that ive had i enjoyed very much.
  9. Thanks guys im going to order a box of the mille fleurs. I had the petit and liked it as a quick smoke. So it sounds like i cant go wrong with the mille. Off topic, but i just ordered a box of le hoyo du prince. Has anyone here tried them? Are they similar to the des dieux? I read robs review from 2008 where he praised them pretty highly. Any thoughts?
  10. thanks for the info smallclub. do you prefer the mille fleurs over the petit corona?
  11. quick question, does anybody know, or can you explain to me the difference between the Romeo Y Julieta Mille Fleurs and the Petit Corona? according to the information on both they are both the same size. is one short filler or machine bunched? different blends ect.. i've had the petit corona and liked it as a quick smoke while driving at work, but the mille fleurs is about 2$ cheaper per stick. thanks for any help on the topic.
  12. Question, Where do these blond tasting cigars come from and how do you get involved in the tasting? Or is it too late. Sounds like a fun challenge.
  13. Ryan, Thanks thats good to know. I wouldnt have any concerns had the seals been intact upon arrival. Ive been burnt in the past amd im just now starting to get back into ordering habanos online. The two cohibas i have had were almost perfect in appearance so when these showed up i had red flags popping up. Shlomo, Thanks for all the info. I was expecting more from one of cohibas priciest vitolas. Im going to put an order in with rob for a whole bunch of different singles. At least i know theyll be real in the future. Thanks again.
  14. Ha thanks for all the great info guys. I was just under the assumption that all cubans had triple caps being that the few that i have and have had, had them. Yes i think the term triple cap is a US term. We use it to descripe the three distinct lines that form from the cap being rolled into place and then being capped off. Good to know that its not a requirement to be legit. Sorry for my newbness. But when it comes to habanos its a new world for me and im learning something new every day. So i appreciate all of your responses. As far as that warranty seal goes i guess thats what they used to look like then correct?
  15. Thanks Capn'! Im gonna order a few singles of various H. Upmanns
