  8. ron zacappa 23, pyrat and occasionally Elijah Craig 12. On the easier nights I like to have some yellow tail Shiraz.
  9. A couple weeks ago I brought some Monte #2 to celebrate my sister's new home. They had some fine wine, samples of cheese and the Monte's were superb. That was one of my best cigar experiences especially since toward the end of the night even the ladies were smoking cigars.

    Drive

Awesome movie, I think he broke all of his driving rules by the end.
  11. Thats to bad it turned out like that but when you smoke em early there is always that chance. But how can you resist that nice cigar quietly telling you to smoke it.
  12. This was a very interesting post and really enjoyed reading on the topic. It is nice to jaw drop and stare at the awesome setups that many of yo have. My setup is currently a 100, 150, 50 size desktop humidor. I am currently in the process of finishing my end table humidor and after reading this article I think I will add some beads to balance out the humidity since I currently have the hydra sm and don't want it to over humidify. 13. I did a little reading and the end table has a maple veneer on it. I have some maple and think I will try to use that for the frame of the door and maybe I will try to get 1/4 in thin pice to go in the middle of the door and then try to find some closely matching stain. You are right they did say imperfect. Looking at all the parts I think I have an extra shelf so I guess someone was saying "Hey Bob were all out of doors what do you want to do? Well just throw in an extra shelf and everything will be good" lol
  14. Thanks for the heads up I did a bunch of reading on it, I had no idea that it wasn't related to cedar. I think I will get the spanish cedar veneer and put it on the inside of the door.
  15. Hello Everyone, I have a Lauderdale End Table humidor that I purchased as an imperfect for $150 after shipping. When I recieved it the front door was missing. Well i called the company and they said that they would refund the money and I could just keep the humidor. Well now I want to build a door for it and was just wondering if anyone had input on what type of wood to use and if i should do glass or keep it wood with a spanish cedar on the inside. Also my next question is does it matter what type of cedar I use on the inside. I know spanish cedar is the norm but does it matter? Thanks for your 2 cents, Cody
  16. I really enjoyed this topic I will be trying some brandy shortly.
  17. Next it will be a built in tape measure or clamp.
  18. Welcome from a fellow marylander.
  19. Coffee all the way. I have been working on perfecting making it and I do about a 1/2 to inch layer of grinds in filter to make four cups. I have been using starbucks breakfast blend lately and it is pretty good. Then I do two fair size teaspoons sugar and milk, creamer or 50/50. Then I do whip cream (the bucket kind) and drizzle chocolate or caramel with a pinch of cinnamon. Excellent!

  21. Cohiba Siglo II. I must say as of today it was a very good choice even being my first CC. As far as memories it was the fisrt cigar I smoked down to my finger tips and left me wanting another.

    Colombiana

I wanted to see what everyone thought about Colombiana because I blew this movie off at first and even once started the first couple min and changed the movie. However, a buddy of mine was talking it up big time about this sexy chick that was bad to the bone so I sat down and watched it. I thought it was an awesome film.
  23. I all depends on the day and what I would prefer to smoke. Sure C & C do tend to be small but there are smaller cigars that cost quite a bit. If I am smoking a small cigar it is because I don't have much time or it is cold to sit out side for an extended period of time regardless of cost.
  24. They also may be a little more moist.
