  1. Rob you really need to stop showing us your perfect skies and weather, some of us live in new england and thats torture:-( But seriously your honest reviews are great:-D
  2. » » Any chance of having Hamlet do a special run for FoH members? » » Now that would be pretty cool wouldn't it ! I'd second that:-)
  3. Mike do you work for Rob? LOL. I think I might have to talk to my friend VISA about getting a box:-D
  4. WOW sounds like a mess, looks like you made the best of it;-)
  5. According to the interview with Robania in CA Cuba has more first class land avalible for tabbaco growing than they are using now. But this is from a communist country! Habanos S.A should put the money up to accumulate a large stock of leaf - it's worth it's wieght in gold, although that could be hard with the price tag they paid. Granted they are doing much better than before. What-ever light up a havana and enjoy:-D
  6. Rob I have heard he would be there in person - did you see him?
  7. In my limeted experence I go with my 01 siglo III's, it has a mild start but is a very elegante creamy smoke with a nice spice on the finish.
  8. What I can't understand is they discontinue many good cigars and keep Guantanamera? This is a brand that mostly is bought by people new to habanos and is a horrible representaion of there many other fine cigars - in other words just a bad first impression. They can't see this?:-(
  9. Got a box of ten and WOW! No trace of ammonia upon opening the box and very nice dark wrappers, fired one up and fell in love with this rich short smoke. Would like to here what you quys think of them.
  10. I hear it's the minerals in the soil of cuba that make the ash dark.
  11. JLP Petit Cazadores? First I've heard of these, I guess they never made it:-|
  12. I thought they might be higher quality - My first monte #4's were EMS and they had nice dark wrapper's with that great bean flavor. My second box was from Hong Kong with lighter wrappers, great construction and equal flavor (after a short rest). I wanted to compare again so I got a 5'er from the same EMS supplier and what I got had lighter wrappers and bland taste. Thats good enough for me - I dont see any difference:-|
  13. On my box of 5 - 5 packs it reads "Hecho En Cuba". Just my opion but JP are better than most NC cigars I have had - also good to balance the budget against other more costly smokes;-)
  14. thanks for the info, I know they are super young but will try one out.
