  1. Back when you could buy a car for about $600. And even with that, cigars were a great deal back then!!!!
  2. Exxxxxxssssspresso. Ooooooohhhh. LOL. Paging Mr. Frank, paging Mr. Frank...LOL. (...I say it that way sometime to get his paesano blood boiling...)
  3. What the hell is this. Same FOH? Decaf coffee???? What, are ya pregnant??? (Only time it's even been in my house is when The Wife was Pregasaurus Rex those two times). Decaf coffee - that's like nookie without the finish. What's the point???? Coffee (and that nookie thing) is the reason I haven't shot/throat punched/bouncer slapped/pile-driven more people in life...both are cheaper than therapy.
  4. I used to go fairly big on them. Haven't bought any in about 6 or 7 years now. Sold a bunch off (a fair amount of extra stock / ones I ended up not liking). Many from mid 2000's to mid 20-teens were fairly nice. RA Extras are one of my favorites over time. And Monte Sublimes. Last smoked either about a year to 18 months ago??
  5. Limited production run, serial numbered plate attached, comes with a signed letter of authenticity, beautiful embossed and golf-leaf applique box, and guaranteed to increase your taste enjoyment by 570 %, minimum. And all for the low, low price of $99,999.99 as a special limited-time offer. Don't wait another 600 years!!!! Now really, what's that in the grand scheme of things in Cuban cigar costs, nowadays???
  6. Edit added above. A couple quick questions asked, so to confirm...we're thinking of holding it to a max of 20 seats (don't want to completely scare the neighbours) and then with an RSVP due date for the end-of-day on the Tuesday before, June 2nd. Hopefully, that's enough time (3 weeks) for any attendees to confirm whatever you many need. And that gives us enough time for revising any catering/organizational plans.
  7. I'm waiting for Jose Antonio to get a publishing deal, and then I'm buying everything that he puts pen to paper for, and every picture he adds in. I miss that man, and his wealth of knowledge and general willingness to share and just be a stellar person all around.
  8. 0%. I haven't bought anything from the island since my last Havana trip, November 2019, and nothing cigars-wise at all, except from during a couple European work trips in 2020-2023 window. I haven't bought a thing in the past two years plus, and I've actually sold almost 50% of my long-term / collecting stock, due to family needs / keeping up with bills on paying for a house addition.
  9. Best Habanos period? 2008 to 2014 was just about the most solid run, frankly. Epic blends, epic quality (goodbye to the curse of 98-2004 or so), epic availability, pricing for what you got (especially the 2006-2010 run of LE / RE stuff), it was all very solid. For best Habanos "heyday" - I'd say when we / the whole FOH / AmiCigar crews were in town, group trips ala 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018. 😜
  10. Hey all... I'm announcing here that I would like to put out there for a "small" (LOL) cigar event. Frank and I were chatting about it a bit, after having some of our own times with spending some weekends together with us and our spouses... I'm organizing a "Get Keithed" MiniHerf cigar event for 5-7 June 2026, at my own backyard in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. Brochures and details attached. Open to any and all, but with our location in southwestern Ontario, this is definitely more fit for Ontario/Quebec FOHers, and also for any Michigan or Ohio American friends also!!! I'm also emailing this out via a list of normal participants from Ontario that Frank and I have interacted with multiple times before. Interested invitees are to reach out to me or Frank via email or PM. Frank prefers DM. He's "Puros Y Vinos" on FOH. Reservation of spots are only confirmed once fees are paid, via EMT or PayPal, to either Frank or myself. With lots of local hotel space, we can definitely pack out the place. Decent back yard, lots of good covered space, mancave/cigar lounge garage for bad weather backup. Bring your billiards skills, we'd welcome a guitar player for around the firepit, and be sure to bring a bathing suit for the hot tub! We'd also appreciate, depending on numbers, anyone bringing a favoured foldable backyard chair for yourself. Itinerary, meals/menu plans, and other details will be emailed out upon spot reservation and fees paid. All I ask from any participants is that any details on specific address and personal details are TO BE KEPT SECRET AND PRIVATE. Don't reveal my home address, don't reveal my personal particulars, and respect my wishes with that to be welcomed to my home. All food and some beverages will be provided by us. I want to reiterate that the pricing attached to this is for food and supplies coverage solely, with no personal gain, and any pricing overage will be paid by me, and likewise, any extra funds left over will be donated to the Salvation Army / United Way charities locally. Bring the favorite tipple of your choice, with anything else provided as per the Get Keithed MiniHerf Menu mailout. Please see the attached brochure and details. Anyone interested in attending, please respond to Frank / myself, and get reserved. EDIT: a couple quick questions asked, so to confirm...we're thinking of holding it to a max of 20 seats (don't want to completely scare the neighbours) and then with an RSVP due date for the end-of-day on the Tuesday before, June 2nd.
  11. I'll gladly taste whatever you send... LOL. Tell Hammy he needs to do Lanceros again.
