partagasd4
Cuaba Tradicionales Review Stats: Length: 120mm Ring: 41 Hand made Paired with water Construction: Interesting shape, good construction. Wrapper is not veiny, but has a few weird marks. First thoughts: Aroma - very light tobacco Pre Draw - Firm draw. Slightly fruity with tobacco flavour First Third: Lots of coffee flavour, peppery. Bad burn because of the shape. Salty taste. Second Third: Flavour getting interesting - creamy with bitter chocolate Last Third: Very long ash cone and hot. Flavour starting to decline, slightly papery. Conclusion: Because of the shape the burn was pretty bad. I don't think I lit the cigar properly. I'd probably clip off a bit of the end next time. Because it's a short cigar, it was hot for almost the entire smoke, but not too hot. This is a very quick smoke. But if you're looking for a quick smoke, there are plenty of other better cigars of the same length for the same price point. I'd rather go with something like a Montecristo 4 or Partagas Short. I would rate this cigar a 70. I think it would be a better cigar if it were bigger. It left me wanting more. The Czar's Review: "This cigar has it's fans. Full bodied masterfully rolled little figurado. Does not possess the richness and complexity of it's little brother the Divino's but is a good cigar just the same." MIKA27
Interesting review PD4. I remember looking at these a few years back, was interested however due to the poor reviews on the Cuaba line, I thought twice and purchased something else. I wouldn't mind trying one though, the shape and size was what also interested me.
Leopolis Semper Fidelis
The review confirms my negative impressions of Cuaba.
partagasd4
The review confirms my negative impressions of Cuaba. I have heard good reviews about the Cuaba Salamones, and I think the Divinos is pretty good too.
NSXCIGAR
Wanted to bump a Tradicionales thread and this is the newest one I could find! These were apparently never discontinued and I'm curious if anyone's had any recent production. There's some TOS 16 out there and I'm entertaining a purchase...any feedback? Will I have to be the guinea pig?

The 2011s I had were smoking great. The 16s are a different cigar entirely and not the Cuaba I love. I will continue to look for older boxes of Exclusivos and Tradicionales.
