yossie Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 First of all, I really thank Fatcigar for gifting this opportunity. Pre-light aroma:Very sweet flavor like caramel and grass. First third: It started from sweetness like honey and grass without any spice and was gentle. After an inch, Spice of small amount was developping slowly but not dominantly, at the same time, I found growing cream in it. It was unlike the spice, It became major part of the aroma. Second third: It was still yummy and Spice was developping little by little and the body became stronger with coffee beans on the contrast to the first third. Last third: Finally settled to strong wood, caramel and grass. Conclusion: I have too lack of experiences of aged cigar to comment in general, So I want you to understand It was about only the punch I smoked. Aging might change the young cigar to gentle but the flavor profile was almost still typical Punch's. Some of people said aging was something magical but for me,It was not so great, Yet It was very enjoyable. By the way, When I was smoking, Town radio was speaking on the Tsunami from Samoa.
MontrealRon Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Many thanks for a great review! I brought back a few singles from Cuba around 8-9 years ago, and I think maybe 1 or 2 are still remaining. Time to go cigar hunting!
