raney Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I would throw my hat in for the LGC as well, and I'll mention Rafael Gonzalez CE or Lonsdale as well.

I like Doc's advice. Sanco Panza Belicoso or the ERDM Chiox Sup. are easy cigars to smoke. Be advised that not all newbies come in with the more mild cigars and the advice to smoke slow is worth taking. I started with the Bolivar Belicoso Fino and loved it. Careful what you ask for on this forum mate you'll have to buy(try) thirty different sticks. Hey thats a good idea. How much money do you have? Rob will take plenty. On the level mate, do what Rob says. I asked him on the first date to fix up a selection across the board and he did a bang up job. Oh the money he has now taken off me.

I too agree with Roman. You might also consider the VR Famoso another very excellent smoke to start with.
guilow Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 For a first start, I would try: -ERDM Choix Supreme -Monte #2 or #4 -Diplomatico #4
Lemon Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Hmm, hope I'm not reviving a dead topic here, but this was an interesting one :-) If you want to re-stock your humi, I'd say go for a box of RASS. An absolutely great buy. For something a bit milder, why not go with the ERDM Choix Supreme. Also great value. I myself recently re-stocked my humidor. I would recommend you did as I did: buy a box of cigars with good value, for example Quintero Brevas. Nice smokes which you don't have to smoke thinking about how much it cost.
