Once I get the hang of it...

After a beautifull sunny day (with a 12 year old Mc2 as a highlight after lunch), I picked this one out of the humi. Just to sit back, relax, enjoy the tranquility (except for some cow belows B) )

Bolivar Legendarios Regional Edition Exclusivo Suiza 2008. A big bad a$$ cigar !

This one is a single, so I have no box code available (only 2430 boxes were made, according to my info).

155mm of pure fun, ring 50. A dark brown (veiny) wrapper, hardly any oil to distinguish.

A perfect christening of my new Xikar Ultra Slim Cutter, and man, did it cut the perfectly made tripple cap !?!

A perfect draw with some resistance, unless the big ring size and the sponginess.

Torch lighting went very smooth.

The first puffs don't give away much details, other than tabacco (duh :P ) and pepper. It's not that heavy. I got good amounts of smoke.

The ash is rather flaky and dark grey.

After the first inch, the cigar gets really warmed up and gives me lots of cocoa and peppers.

I just have to sit back and enjoy Buena Vista SC (El cuarto de tula 'aaai mama',...) and a good read (The Bernini mysterie - D. Brown).

Second third, continuation of the celebration ! And then sh*t happens : smoking and writing reviews at the same time is not healthy for company laptops... I guess the conclusion is that the ash is absolutely not firm. :cigar:

I still am getting that pepper and now and then some dark chocolate bitterness in the mouth.

Final... not a huge Grande Finale. Just the same taste kept comming.

I think this cigar will get better with years, will be more round, the rough edges will be trimmed.

As a companion, I chose a dry German Mosel Riesling.

And the obligatory pictures... (sorry, forgot to take pictures of the final stages, due to the action in Rome)

I've smoked last night,

construction is PERFECT.

There is no any ammonium taste.

Mild cigar, last third is classic strong bolivar taste.

Pure taste, 75 minutes smoke time.
