puros1969 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Back when my buddy and I were relatively new to smoking cigars (I guess 2000), we made a large purchase with the intent of aging. It just so happened that there were a handful of Cohiba Milleniums. Well these cigars have been aging in my buddies humidor for the past 8-9 years. He reminded me this weekend that we still had two remaining. I had actually forgotten about them. After thinking about it, I was concerned that they may be, if not already, getting past there prime. On the other hand, it is such an iconic cigar and a collector's item. So the question is: Do I smoke it now or continue letting it rest? What do you all think?
Habanos2000 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Since you asked and if it was up to me, I would smoke that cigar on a special occasion since it is a special cigar. You can define 'special' any way you want! While I've never had a Millenium myself, I would have to think the age you have on them currently should be more than sufficient and they should be ready to show you what they're made of. Take some pics and let us know how you liked them, enjoy!
El Presidente Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 They won't be past their prime so don't worry Plan a great day with your mate....booze & birds ......or church and picnic....whatever rings your bell. Take a photo of both of you and frame it later for a life long memory.
