I don't know if this is the case here, but around that area, people have been known to lie in the middle of the road, a car pulls over to check if they're ok, then a bunch of people run out from behind some bushes & car jack them, leaving them (potentially injured) in the middle of nowhere.

That just doesn't make sense, if he was to honk his horn that would make him a honker and the guy lying on the road could never be described as a honkey.
