For those of you with experience with the more recent stock of Boli CE which of the following codes would you lean towards? POS MAR 07 POS ENE 07 POS ABR 07 all the same or is one beter than the others?

Hi Bolismoker, Given the passion many share for the CE, there may in fact be a best-choice among the codes you've listed. All I can offer here is the fact that the '06 and '07's I've tried have been excellent - rich, very flavorful and consistent. My guess is that it would be difficult to go wrong, given the choices you've listed. Hang tight and the "big guns" will be happy to offer a better-informed opinion. Cheers and good luck!
aavkk Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I have mar 07's which are rediculously good! I think the key is to find the lighter, thinner wrappers.
El Presidente Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 The key is to have the vendor check and choose a magnificent Cab. Costruction/aroma/wrapper. There have been great boxes cabs of BCE from all codes listed as well as some dogs.

Bolismoker Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 Thanks for the input fellas. Boli CE has long been my Fav go-to smoke. I'm quite sure I've smoked more of them than anything (I have the empty boxes all over the place to prove it). I agree with something Rob said in the recent review, that he found the Cab version to be richer than the dress boxes. As such, I was very disappointed to hear that they're being discontinued. I'm currently trying to stock up several of the cabs, so that I can have them last awhile. Always sad to have your favorite smoke discontinued. Sort of like loosing a good friend.
