bigkev Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I just ordered some Siglo IV's but have never smoked them before. How have they been smoking and what can I expect? Thank you!
Mr.T Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I've not tried any recent stock (08), but this is one of my favorite cigars. I love them. This is one cigar I would keep purchasing over and over again, if I had the money. IMHO I think they are the strongest of the Siglo line and second best to the Siglo VI. Good choice!
aavkk Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 I stocked up on the early 07's and I would highly recommend a box if they are still around. With that said it seems quite a few cohibas from early 08 have performed exceptionally well, notably the robusto. The siglo IV, a great size with great balance and great complexity. It is my go-to corona gorda behind the late 90's SS#2. Enjoy!
chrisguinther Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I'm smoking one today from an ENE 06 box. Most of the grassiness has went away leaving cream, vanilla, and coffee bean floavors. Not much transition throughout, but that is not a problem for me. Burn is very good, and smoke is very aromatic.
