neal875 Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I recently got a box of SLR Tubed Petit Corona from the year 2000. I know that they are no longer made with this packaging and I also have discovered that they are very difficult to find as i have tried to get a second box with no success. Does anyone have any information on the tubed version of this cigar? Was it a global release or for a specific area? Did they make a lot of them or just a relatively few? Why are they so hard to find? I understand that they also had the same white tubes for the Churchill and the Corona. By the way: they are quite tasty---very rich and much more full bodied (and strong) than the versions I have had without tube from that same period. Nice.
Trevor2118 Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 The SLR Churchill's, Coronas, and Petit Corona Boxes 25 (white) Tubed were deleted at the end of 2006. Petit Corona (white) Tubed were also available in Packs of 5, also discontinued at the end of 2006. They were standard production cigars, but remember SLR is only a Local Brand.....limited availability, globally.

I've never seen any SLR Coronas Tubos...I wish I could find some. SLR is one of my favourite brands, for sure.
